bob-menhennett Posted April 12, 2006 Report Share Posted April 12, 2006 Back axle now safely re-installed on the re-furbished chassis.Question...the shock absorbers work well, in terms of resistance, in both directions. The fluid is ?? years old and I was planning to replenish with fresh.The shock absorbers are loose ( i.e. not on the chassis)....can I simply up end it , to empty the contents ?Would you recommend removing the valve spring nut and generally cleaning up the contents before reassembling and filling with fresh fluid ?
