What an event, and another good showing for the 3 TR's, Bill Wyatt/Paul Robinson were 11th in the TR4, Terry Pickering/Mark Appleton 16th in the TR3 and Me/Stan Appleton were 28th (having missed a codeboard up on Epynt ) - that's out of 90-odd starters It's amazing just how good a rally car the TR is up against modern machinery - we were baulked by a Lancia Integrale on the ranges and dropped a minute, then once were past him we left him way behind, even on the gravel tracks used by the WRC boys - ha ha ha!! best bit of the night! Brilliant route using a couple of regularities, two big (and very fast) sections around Epynt, endless loops through Crychan Forest, Devil's Staircase, Abergwesyn ... the whole 9 yards - highly recommended for next year.
