John Saunders Posted March 16, 2005 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 This last weekend (March 12th/13th) Steve Hall and Aggie were out in the TR7 V8 on the first round of the HRCR Classic Rally Challenge. This was held in and around Clipstone Notts. in the forests. We were fortunate to see them in glorious sunshine on the Sunday morning. The car went very well indeed at least in the fleeting glance which we saw of them ! They ended up in 6th position overall, which personally I would have thought very good as the car has only been out three times so far since completion last year. Steve says that he hopes to considerably improve on this position in future, but does have serious opposition with some highly developed Escorts and also Porsches. The next round is in Wales in April and if the round we saw is anything to go by, then it is well worth viewing.
