fox889 Posted June 8, 2013 Report Share Posted June 8, 2013 Looking through fleabay & Rimmers, there appears to be two Castrol Valve Master additives, one standard (I assume) & one 'plus'. I normally use Shell V Power (or BP/Esso equivilant) so, do I go for the standard or the plus? I run a bog standard 6 on pi if that helps? Thanks. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
badshead Posted June 8, 2013 Report Share Posted June 8, 2013 I think the 'plus' version is supposed to provide an octane boost, so shouldn't be necessary if you're using 'V Power'. When I first got my car 10 years ago I used to use it, but haven't bothered with it for the last 8 or so years and haven't missed it so far (use V Power when I can). Given the low mileage and type of driving for most TRs 'V Power' should be enough - save your money. Bill Quote Link to post Share on other sites
