Ian Mould Posted January 27, 2005 Report Share Posted January 27, 2005 I have oil leaking from the rear of the gearbox and from between the gearbox/engine area. Nothing unusual there but it makes a mess on the drive when I visit friends. Can I drop the box with a trolley jack with the car on axle stands or have I got to take the whole engine/gearbox assembly out through the engine bay to get at the oil seals as per the repair and maintenance manual.
