They reputably came off a TR3A and a quick check shows this to be true(jets etc.). Will they fit with standard ramp pipes without "modifying" the off side engine bay? The SU's as fitted, confirmed as balanced and mixture checked with "colour" tune are OK -starting is poor. They need full choke for a long time(Icing?). Carbs fully re-built with new needles and seats. - no detectable leak though the throttle butterfly holes. Ignition is checked out as good - but I am going to replace it with a new "electronic" distributor. Given that I now have the Weber's - and they WILL be fitted - any hints/suggestions?
