Guest Alan Crome
FOUND http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1977-TR....iewItem I was trawling through ebay last night looking at all thing Triumph (includes womens underwear and motorcycles) when my eyes fell out of my head (no not the womens underwear!), there is my uncle's car that I've spent the last year searching for. Looking a little sad, but still low miles and looking very familiar I couldn't believe my eyes after all this searching, there it was infront of my eyes it was kind of like bumping intpo an old friend you'd not seen in years. I've now contacted the owner/seller (via ebay) and are waiting for a response (fingers crossed) I hope that they will either keep it themselves - as they state that it must go to a good home and they've set a high reserve, if they do sell it I hope that I can keep intouch with its new keeper. My only regret is that I cannot afford to bring it "back home" as all my spare pennies are already thrown at my elderly Dolomite. Anyone recognise the car now ? it appears to live in St Ives, club member ? any additional help in contacting the owner would be appreciated.
