Isn't this a mighty complicated way of getting 170bhp?

The aim is to improve petrol consumption to 35mpg while keeping the mid-range torque from the blower. Without the Miller cycle de-tune the ethanol fuelling would give around 200-220fwhp at 5500rpm, but only 22-24mpg on petrol.

And its the fun of sorting out how to do it, working from first principles.
