Ade-TR4 Posted March 29, 2012 Report Share Posted March 29, 2012 Morning all, My Dad's rather nice and very low mileage TR6's seat foams are disintegrating. The vinyl covers are fine. Is it possible to peel the covers of the original foams and "re-fill" with new foams? I have tried to convince him to have new covers, but, like the remnants of the foam, he's rather attached to them! Advice greatly appreciated. Cheers! Adey Quote Link to post Share on other sites
badshead Posted March 29, 2012 Report Share Posted March 29, 2012 Adey Yes, all the foams are available and quite easy to fit, just be careful not to force anything otherwise the vinyl could split. I can't remember the specific details but there's some kind of strap that attaches to the inside of the seat back cover which has to be pulled through the foam - a bit of a fiddle I recall.
