foster461
To close out the topic of my cam and lifters.. I sent my original cam and lifters to an outfit on the west coast (Delta Cams, deltacam.com) who machined the lifters to resurface them and give them the correct radius. They also reground my slighly worn cam to standard spec profile. They polished the few scratches out of the cam journals. Total cost to process the cam and two sets of lifters was $84. Turn around time was two weeks and it is 10 days round trip UPS ground shipping. My machine shop guy measured the cam and the lifters and they are spot on and got the thumbs up from him so that is what I will be using for the rebuild later this year.
