simon
I managed to buy some genuine TR8 calipers and disks at the international weekend and after looking at the disk guards have decided I need to replace them as well. Trouble is, that I believe I can only get some second hand and they probably won't be much better than the ones I have got. Does anybody know if you can still get some genuine tr8 style disk guards? malcolm
I'm surprised you have gone for genuine TR8 brakes on your V8 conversion. Unless going for a really accurate TR8 replica it would have been tempting to opt for one of the common brake conversions where spares availablility isn't an issue. For instance with the two pot 2.8i Capri brakes (about £250 for a kit I seem to recall) you can get all the bits new, including some rather nice Tarox grooved/vented disks. Otherwise - I'd ring up a couple of the TR7 specialists to try to get your bits. It's quite amazing the stock of second hand bits they have salted away! Malcolm. simon
Yea, in hindsight you are probably right but it was one of those spur of the moment things!
