Sam
The Moss catalogue indicates a stay / bracket between the clutch slave cylinder mounting and where? My car doesn't have one fitted and as I have noticed a slight flex in the mounting plate when operating the clutch I would like to make one up. I am unable to see an obvious place for the other end to attach to. Sam
marvmul
Sam - the other end of the rod is attached around a longer bolt of the sump. The bracket/stay is a rod that has a threaded part on one end and the other end is bend around the sump bolt (4 cyl engines).
Dave Herrod
Sam, My TR3A didn't have one. Revington sold me a second hand one for not much money. The bar is cranked with one end threaded and the other end flattened and drilled to mate with the sump bolt as described. I seem to think that I needed to use a spacer washer on the bolt to fill the lip of the edge of the sump. Dave
