The outlet from the tap on the offside is much higher than the connecting point on the bulkhead. Fitting the hose as supplied creates a restriction in the pipe. The pipes normally have enough length on them to trim down a bit to get them to sit right. The Kevlar ones are a bit better shape and do have the re-enforcing that the cheap repros lack. Stuart.
