I bought it in 1977, previously it was owned by IPC Magazines who were doing a restoration in Practical Classics Magazine. If I remember correctly they valued the chrome strips between wing and body more than the wings themselves and used a nibbler to remove the wings to give access to the captive nuts. My reason for asking is that I have been clearing out the loft and have found something that would be of value to the new owner - no cost just would like car and it to be reunited.
