triumph4ever
a speedometer (KM/h or.......MPH) for my Triumph TR3A (1958). Does anybody have one left? Edited July 14, 2009 by triumph4ever
Menno van Rij
If you happen to have the old one, it's also an idea to get that one overhauled. There are several companies that can do that job for you. If you don't have the speedo, you can try the TRShop in London. The KM/h is very, very hard to find and extremely expensive. I've seen them offered for over 450 euros. Finally, I while back the German TR Register offered overhauled speedos on their website, but it appeared that the quality is iffy. jean
I remember that the German TR Register had a batch of TR3 instruments ,including Speedos, re-manufactured India. A few lots were aquired by the Belgian Club and are now in service on several cars. Up to now no complains were received on the Speedos Unfortunately the instruments had a flat glass and were sealed, in so far the glass could not be changed
