Tim Whitehead
My 1980 TR7 is pretty shocking under braking so am looking to uprate tires, pads, and, potentially, discs in a bid to live longer. I need new front tires;t does anybody have any suggestions? I am currently considering a set of Continental 'EcoContact 3' as they appear to offer high grip in both the wet and dry. Am i making a mistake? The tires will be 185/70/13. http://www.tyre-shopper.co.uk/ts/search/ty...ode=1857013CT3T I am also planning on changing my brake pads to EBC Green Stuff pads. Would anybody like to recommend an alternative? My brother's TR8 uses these and he has had only good things to say. http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/car/parts_p...5+Speed+(75-81) If i change to the Green Stuff pads should i, or must I, also uprate the brake discs? To EBCs? http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/car/parts_d...ear=TR7+(75-81) Any advice greatly appreciated. Tim
chris turner
All 3 things you suggest will make the brakes much better. I have the same pads, discs and tyres on my car and they are much better than standard.
