Claus
Hi i live in Denmark, and have recently purchased this car. It is a righthand drive car, and I bought it from an english guy living here in Denmark. I believe he bought the car from specialist "Classic marques"? I would very much like to know the cars english history? Regards Claus Hansen Denmark
marko
Hi Claus, This was certainly one of my cars and supplied to a gentleman called Ian Francis on "trade terms" from an Ebay sale in April 2008 and driven back to Denmark. The car was purchased by me in the UK from a gentleman called Trevor Jones and it was a bit of a Hybrid from what I can remember. I think the log book stated that the car had been restored from a series of parts (some of which were not new) which would explain why it had early dashboard instruments and the early fresh air flap, even though it was registered in 1974.....on an M Reg..... Not sure I can remember much else apart from it was very quick on the road! Regards Mark (Classic Marques)

I have also discovered, that the car is a bit of a hybrid. It has a CC engine, early dashboard, mecanical fuelpump, so at first I thought it started out as an american import converted to rhd. But it appears to allways have been in rhd form? Eventhough it is a cc engine running on triple webers, it feels as quick or even quicker than my old modified PI. There is however and awfull lot of receipts with the car, but none that states an engine rebuild. But i suspect that the engine was rebuild at some time and modified. marko
The engine must have been rebuilt as that car is way to quick for a CC Series engine, I know the triple webers help but it was just a quick as a fully rebuilt 150 bhp car on P.I. - we had a little drag race and the blue car could pull away slightly from the 150 bhp car up to about 80 mph......
