Cam application

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Hi I was looking to put a 150 bhp cam in my engine, the spec will be SU's, K&N, triumph sport exhaust manifold to std s/s exhaust, 9.5CR, elec fan.

I have been offered a cam to the following spec will this work with the standard head?

Timing 35-75 75-35 290 degrees duration.

Camlift 0.310 +/- 0.001 thou.

Also I have the option of a GT6 MK11 cam which has a slightly different spec to the 150 bhp cam ( I think spec is 25-65 65-25 270 duration, .34 lift), would that be a better option.

Thanks

Mark
