A new Association has just started up called the HMSA Historic Modsports and Saloon Association www.historicmodsportsandsaloons.com They are gathering together all the old Modsports racing cars including the Super Saloons and Historic Hotrods up to 1982 and allowing them to use Slicks and Semi Space frames. We race an EX Works TR8 and at last we can circuit race once the HMSA grows in membership. There are quite a few modified Historic TRs now joining the HMSA alongside Modsports AC Cobras,Aston Martin,Elvas,Turner Sports Cars,MG and the Caterham Black Brick Series.The Super Saloons include TWR XJC,BMW Batmobiles,Capris,Escorts,Anglias etc. Its organised and run by seasoned race car drivers and enthusiasts who are passionate about looking after all its members. Should be fun to see all these great racing cars compete again as most of the drivers are seasoned competitors and well known to all of us. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
