davidgsmith
Can anyone tell me the exact depth of what a 4 cylinder Head should be? Just trying to determine if there is room to skim mine or to replace with a newer Head. Thanks
kob666e
Can anyone tell me the exact depth of what a 4 cylinder Head should be? Just trying to determine if there is room to skim mine or to replace with a newer Head. Thanks Standard head depth was 16.2mm, head face to inside of combustion chamber, it is possible to skim 60 thou (1.5mm I think) off this, that will increase the compression to 9.75/10 to 1. Hope that helps !! Edited August 2, 2008 by kob666e
