Richard V
Hi, Due to the amount of time I have spent looking at my chassis and suspension over the last few days (see my other topic ) I have noticed an extra ID plate which is not mentioned in the workshop manual. It has " B 8 " stamped on it. Page 114 in the Moss catalogue showing the TR2, 3 chassis has the text "identification plate" next to it. Mine is a TR4 CT7786 O. I had understood that this CT... number was the "chassis number" Any ideas. Richard.
TR 2100
Hi Richard, The CT7786 O is the chassis number or identification plate. The 'B *' number has no real significance. You should also find a plain aluminium plate on the bulkhead with a CT number stamped on - that's the body number but it's not used for identification. I have 2 TR4s, both with CT numbers very close to yours. AlanR
