Narrow pulley

Excuse me repeating a post to TR4/4a  but in case some one doesn't look there and you rally chaps are more likely to have done this.

I am about to fit an alternator and narrow belt kit and intend to use the damped crank pulley

does any one have any tales to tell.

Got one on my TR4 and it works fine (well i need to check that I didnt break the crank when my clutch went week to be sure) Only point is to get the right pulleys for the alternator / dynamo and make sure all three are in alignment.

 

You probably also know that you can just get the fan belt in without jacking up the engine on the mounts etc. unlike the wide belt kit ........
