blgdave
Yes I did put three 4's in a line. I am stuck at sea and madness helps pass the time! Hello all, I am very new to the world of 4's so just letting you all know I am out there. As per my introduction on the main forum this is my first 4 and I look forward to meeting you all ove rthe coming months and years. If my old Escorts are anything to go by I reckon I will get right into ownership and let it take me over. Everyone has got to have a hobby I suppose? I intend of course to keep the car as period as possible but there are always little tweaks to make a car more "your own" and add to the driving pleasure. So watch this space!! Here she is anyway... I look forward to doing eveyones head in with questions over the coming months while I learn new tricks. Cheers for now Dave...

RogerH
Hi Dave, welcome. It's not normally quite it must be the thought of sea and Escorts that is concerning people. What part of the world do you reside in when ashore. Have been to your local area group meeting. When you get your 4A moving and things start to wear and fall off I'm sure there will be a queue of people giving you advice and answers. Prehaps nobody replied as you didn't ask a question!!!! Keep writing in, who knows somebody might reply Rgds Roger
blgdave
ha har, yeah I suppose I didnt ask a question there. I am just used to the old Fors sites where my old pals normally just post a hello and a welcome. But a good few folk welcomed me on the main site so I dont feel left out. Why be concirned about the Sea and Escorts by the way? (a question;)) I live up in North East England, and yes I have been in touch with with my local group to join in with them. I have actually met two of them last year, so not such a new face after all I suppose? I actually look forward to bits falling off my cars, it keeps me out of the pub!! I am due back onshore on June 10th for just two weeks this trip. I work on a North Sea Oil and GAs platform as Integrity Surveryor / Inspection engineer by the way. Nothing too exciting? Cheers for now Dave..
