lough90 Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 I have just purchased a replacement screen for my TR4a and was after any advice as to the best method of removing and fitting the screen. Nic Bowman Posted April 14, 2008 Report Share Posted April 14, 2008 Put the new seal on the glass. It has a proper way, joint at the top. Lubricate the seal and windscreen surround with Glycerine (get it from the chemist). Insert string around the seal and place the windscreen loosely on. Wheedle the lower edge into position, push firmly on the screen and work the string around pulling the seal into place. Then fit the trim. Sounds easy, is not really, needs two people and patience.
