lars Posted January 20, 2008 Report Share Posted January 20, 2008 Hello, The starter on my 4a have stopped working.It turns the engine round about a lap then it sounds like it has a weak battery.I have checked the cables and the earth and I have a new battery.Could it be something inside the starter or the solenoid?When you test the starter outside the car it seems to work ok.But inside the car it lack's the power to turn the engine round.
