Wild Bill Posted September 27, 2007 Report Share Posted September 27, 2007 Hi All, I`ve got a problem with my handbrake lever which started a couple of months ago. It`s worked perfectly for over 50 years but this problem is baffling me.What`s happening is when I pull the handbrake on,about half way on,the lever locks.If Ipush in the button it will come on further.I`ve taken the lever off a couple of times and dismantled it but Can`t see the cause.It could be something to do with the quadrant were it slides up the curve at the bottom the lever.Has anyone elsecome accross this .It always releases in normal way.
