Can you re-use the conrod and main bearing bolts?.If not what are the best bolts to use and who supplies them,i enquired about ARP bolts but i am told they dont supply them for the TR4. Ade-TR4 Posted September 25, 2007 Report Share Posted September 25, 2007 Hi John, earlier TR4 con-rod bolts can be re-used if new lock-tabs are placed. Later TR4 and TR4a bolts were "stretch" type, had no lock tabs (in fact lock tabs are a big no-no with these bolts) and are single use only.
