Tr4Tony Posted July 9, 2007 Report Share Posted July 9, 2007 Hi all Selling for a friend in the TR Register ..... 1960 Post TS60,000 (Just) TR3a, ex usa LHD car restored a few years ago in the USA but left outside with a crappy paint job. Now in the UK with taxes paid CR386 Customs paperwork, so can be registered at no cost using a V55 form after it gets an MoT. Its a soft top car and comes with the screen and frame, but no hood or interior soft trim. The vast majority of parts off the car are with it. Having looked at it properly this is a project car, not a quick spruce up and run it jobbut my what a great car it will make. It needs the body taken apart and repainted (all stanpart panels and they look like the originals to the car from the panels fit), the rolling chassis needs very little attention, but to make a superb car id take it all apart and do it again. After which it would be a £20k TR3a. It looks like ooodles of money spent on mechanicals etc. rebuilt engine, non od box and axle and similar attention underneath. Selling for £6.750 as it stands.
