Babs
I would like some advice on the following please,I am removing full harness belts from my 3a and was going to fit 3 point inertia reel type. I have been advised by one of the leading TR suppliers that they only fit static belts as there is no room for the inertia box, I seem to remember having these on my 5 with the box mounted on the wheelarch. I would be pleased for any advice on the subject, also the best source for the belts also rigid stalk or webbing buckle? Many thanks Babs
jean
A friend of mine has a kind of harness on which the shoulder straps are operated by an inertia reel, I think this gives you both advantages of the two systems. Both the reels are fitted to a crossbar mounted on top the wheel arches. This brings the attachment points exactly behind the seats at shoulder hight. Must say it's the best system I have seen up to now. As the car, a TR3, is used for rallying it gives you full freedom to operate the clocks etc....
