Yes real shame the TR has to go, websites above plus a couple here:
http://www.classiccarsforsale.co.uk/
http://www.classicmarks.co.uk/index.htm
Also there are quite a few of the specialist TR boys who may sell on your behalf for a fee or even consider buying it off you
TRGB, TRbitz, Worcester Classic Cars, JY Classics etc
Cheers

Many thanks Guy, an update.....spoke to Chris at TRGB and he knew exactly what I was talking about straight away and what the the problem is, they have told the manufacturers and stopped selling them, problem is that all the usual suspects are selling the same bit of kit from the same manufacturer . You are right that it seems the only reasonable solution is to grind away some of the pedal to fit the fork, TRGB said a couple of their customers have done this, a bit of a balls ache but needs must
Interestingly the manufacturer was reluctant to agree with TRGB that they have stuffed up probably because they have made about 500 of them and do not intend to do anything about it until they have shifted this batch!!!

Hi Folks
Have just bought a replacement Brake Servo from the TR Shop, as always excellent, prompt service and a good price
However. now ready to fit and I discover that the bracket at the end of the push rod is not as long as the one currently fitted. subsequently it seems to me that the only way to get the pin through the holes in the bracket would be to enlarge the holes not a good look!
Has anyone had any issues getting a replacement servo or come across this issue before, TR Shop are mystified and say have never come across this problem before although they are checking into it further.
Any advice or guidance would be great!!
Thanks

Many thanks for the info, have followed up with them, quotes are a tad eye watering to say the least , maybe need to look at alternatives

Hi Folks
I am looking for a Midlands based car/seat trimmer to recover some seats in leather, I have found Tappers in Coventry but was wondering if anyone can recommend any other supplier.
Thanks in anticipation

Hi Nick
Welcome and congrats on your find! There are loads of posts on here about seats, I recall one thread which contains a number of posts about dyeing some mx5 leather seats black, try a search of the TR6 forum

Or even Toyos

Hi All
Many thanks for all the input...some food for thought there...
Clarkey and Mike....no info on serial numbers etc, it was just some general comments from my usual tyre suppliers on Avon and Dunlop, they said you can get a perfectly good set of them but sometimes you can get a dodgy 1 or 2 in a set, you pays your money...
It's gonna be a choice between the Yoyos, P6s and Yokeys I think
Cheers

Thanks Tage...I think 205s are a bit wide for me
Thanks Stuart...the Yokeys were also suggested to me for the same reason as the Toyos.....nice and sticky and with my annual mileage likely to go out of date before they wear out

Hi All
I managed to get a good deal on a set of Minilites at the Classic Car show last weekend at the Minilite stand . Having researched the Forum on tyre choice I would still like to seek advice on usage of a couple of brands. My regular tyre suppliers cautioned me against Avons and Dunlops (although usually great tyres, there have been some quality control issues on the tyres they would suggest from these manufacturers and you can get a duff tyre or 2 apparently ), they have no axe to grind with either of these tyre companies, indeed they supply Dunlop ATs for my 4x4
I have bought 6J x 15 Minilites and am planning on fitting 195/65 tyres, currently considering Pirelli P6 or Toyo Proxes, has anyone experience of these tyres on Minilites on a 6 and have I made a glaring omission on other tyres to consider??? Wanted to seek out expert views and experience before committing a lot of the hard earnt
Many thanks

Sparky
I committed same sin the other week, trusted fuel gauge at over 1/4 full , after topping up off we went to quickly get plenty of misfires and seriously howling fuel pump. Inline fuel filter was completely clogged with s..., tried to blow out with air but no good, changed filter and running sweet again ...until the next time......

Well done and congrats, you must be really chuffed!!!! Look forward to seeing the car at Harrogate hopefully

Thanks Pilkie, I found some old threads on here on the subject, interesting debates around whether it should be matt black, semi-flat black, satin black or something else , think I'll go for the satin black!

Hi Folks
I need to tidy up the paint job on the rear valance and windscreen surround, I read that the 'original' colour used was a semi-flat black, was there a Triumph code for this colour or can anyone suggest a good, modern equivalent colour??
Many thanks

Hi Folks
Having spent a lot of time on the bodywork over the winter, the hood is now letting the side down a bit, it's not filthy but definitely needs a good clean. Now before I rush out and buy some hugely expensive proprietary vinyl hood cleaner I thought I would ask for some tips on what's the best stuff to use to give the hood a good clean, I am sure there are some cheaper alternatives that have been successful for others. All advice gratefully received

Hi All
I bought my car last year, it has standard steel 15 x 5.5J wheels with Kumho Power Star 185/80R15 tyres fitted. Any suggestions as to what pressure I should be running these at? I have emailed the Kumho Technical centre but thought I would seek Forum members' advice too (plus not heard back from Kumho )
Cheers
