Welcome Paul, I think your nearest TR Group is Birmingham. Lots of helpful chaps there!! A Malvern visit is a good call, get lots of info, advice and inspiration there. Enjoy

Nice one Daz
Today I will be mainly bedding my new pads in on the 4 pots, the old up to 10 mph and stop, 20 mph and stop, 30 mph and stop, well you know
Also admiring my very bright new Bi-Xenons upgrade now in place (I could actually see where I was going in the country lanes from Warwick to my place last night!!), handbrake improvers fitted so I now have a half decent handbrake, nice shiny new door handles now on, new front Gaz shocks are in.... starting off with 20 clicks and see how she goes
But to top it all had a phone call from Don Trimming inviting me to take up a cancellation spot on Monday the 9th March rather than wait until my booked in slot of May 27th ... major result, eat your heart out Sparky Brum, I have somehow managed to leapfrog you!
Happy days

We at the Stoneguard club have focussed exclusively on the TR6 up until now but would be happy to consult with our craftsman as to the viability of TR3 creations, he works in aly and stainless and we could offer a choice of finishes..........

Hi Danny
I went direct to the genuine Minilite manufacturers in Telford, got a very good deal, they will also do whatever colour you want and you know you will get the right offset (some retailers buy loads of MG offset wheels and then sell them on for other cars) wheels come with nuts, centre caps and the delivery charge to my door (Midlands) was £22.50 for 5 wheels
Sales Manager is Russell Harris on 01952 620215, email sales@minilite.co.uk
No connection, just happy customer

Had a great top down run to Wrexham yesterday with Mr Bling (Mike 3739), a bit chilly at times but worth the effort. I know many of you know Malcolm and his work well, but just wanted to say what a top bloke, had the pleasure of spending the day with Mike and Malcolm in Malcolm's workshop whilst Malcolm gave our PI the onceover.
Learnt so much from a bloke who is happy to share his knowledge and experience, also got to see and hear about his latest project, his own hand built take on the new Morgan 3 wheeler...wow!
Anyways a great day out and 2 very satisfied customers!!

Hi Magnus
Welcome to the TR 6 world, nice looking car, I am in Leamington but spend time with the Birmingham Group and Mike 3739 (known as Mr Bling) in particular, sounds like you have identified plenty of jobs to do already and plenty of suggestions and help above.
You will find the Forum a very helpful place and I would suggest you use the search function on here as there are loads of previous threads on most 6 jobs!
Happy to help in any way I can and to suggest some of our ;ocal suppliers etc
Cheers

Paul does the covering, not the brackets, TR Trader www.trtrader.com does the brackets, runners on the seats will fit the brackets with a bit of 'adjustment'
cheers

I fitted the Mark 2 MX5 seats in leather with the separate head rests. Brackets from TR Trader, seats recovered by Paul (Ebayer) in Hampshire and even I managed to fit them with no hassle, runners need a bit of tweaking and then they go in nicely
