pretty sure thats how it should be. you need to undo the other bolts and break free the pump and then you can release that nut on the stud.

i wouldnt mind having a go at that myself...... i will keep an eye on it .should imagine even with that damage it will fetch a good price

Hi David
i did replace both floor pans on my TR6 ...they were replaced with the body tub off the chassis and with the tub upside down..thinking about it i dont think you could replace the pan with the tub on the chassis ,,,,or at the best it would be very very difficult and awkward. ,,,not quite the answer you wanted but its the best i can offer !

as per factory

I followed Stuart advice and leaded the edges of door / wing , and it worked a treat.gaps are lovely.only thing with filler , it may chip if you catch the edge and then it's back to doing it again...lead is the way.

i have a positive look on it...Right now i am restoring a TR6 nut and bolt job,,,it has taken 4 years so far...i spend a bit when i have it , In the end , and its getting close i will have my dream car looking as new. Could i go out and buy the same ,,,no , not without a large loan. ( i have 4 children and a springer to feed ) Do the numbers add up ? Yes i think so..

leftover pipes
in TR6 Forum
Posted
i have nearly connected my fuel pipes up to both the metering unit and fuel pump, however i seem to have a pile of bits left over .....any one know where they go ,,i know they came off my tr6. pretty sure they are on the fuel side .the ends have been cut off and they are mostly olive fittings.
probably embarrassingly simple but i give up !
cheers
