  1. I personally wouldn't buy unseen ,but have recently sold an mgb unseen by the buyer. I described it honestly  sent some pictures and the buyer agreed to buy .transport collected it after payment received, that same afternoon I received a phone call to say how delighted he was,and he thanked me for being honest.

    I still wouldn't do it myself !

    Tim,

I would be interested in your thoughts on the Stag vs the TR6. I have had thoughts of a Stag to replace both our TR6 and TR8 as a way of downsizing but am unsure if that is a good way to go.

Hi Simon  I have a Stag and Tr6,, they are two completely different cars in every way  .the stag is more relaxed drive ,tr6 very engaging drive ,tr6 probably more fun to drive than the stag,  stag is more practical being bigger  , if ihad to get rid of one  we'll I really wouldn't know which one to choose

  4. I  have recently attempted to blast the bottom edges of a stag I am restoring, I bought a media pot, and got stuck in. Nightmare....pot cost me £60,,media £40...way to time consuming , after a day of doing..Not a lot...I phoned a fellar who does it mobile  ...£200. Job done in about 3 hours..I did offer to clean up after him, which took the rest of the day ! I have now sold the pot and gave the leftover media to the buyer...never again

  5. so , just doing final checks before our trip tomorrow to IWE and the not very old radiator cap decides to fall apart in my hand, so only option is use my Stag one even though its rated 20lbs.  Can anyone confirm this will be ok , pretty sure it will but another opinion would be nice

Do you know what make it was - I'm after one of those myself.

    Cheers

The only info I have on this windbreaker is that it is sold by Rimmers and they describe it as Sisa design deflector .it's about £300.. The fellar I bought it from thinks it's a German made item.I figured it out last night and it does fit well  , the only obvious problem ,is that the bracket offends the hood bag at the corner near the door. It looks like I will have to cut the hood bag to tidy the corner up. Like most things , there is a compromise, but I am happy with it.
