  2. Hi Davvo

My car is an american spec car

I bare metaled the car 5 years ago and the only hole for an aerial is on the left wing about 6 inches

from the rear of the wing

    Hope this might help

  3. I have found some bolts that fit into my bumper at the restoration show a couple of years ago that just push in

I have not had nuts on the other side

    They are just pushed in

Infact one of them has duct tape round it so that it did,nt move about in the hole

You can also fit some very nice oblong  spot lights into were the side lights go in the cut out

I have some ford probe spots that i also picked up at the restoration show and they fit really nice

But you will have to make some brackets up to hold them

    All the best Jim

  4. I have got hold of a limited slip diff that is in a 6 housing and need some help with how to adjust it.As at the moment it is setup for racing and I just want it for pratting about on the road.

On the casing which is castiron it has the words lemax 38 cast in to it anybody got any info on these diff,s

I am lead to belive that it was from triumph itself that it came from so anybody with any paper work on it that would let me have a copy would be much appreciated

    Cheers Reg

  5. You boys are not following my train of thought

In Kasners preparation book he says you need more pressure in the block if you soup up the engine to stop air pockets forming

So my idea is to put 6 vanes on the impellor there by increasing the flow and therfore more pressure

Now what do you think about that

  6. Hello all

I am experimenting with my water pump and wondered if anybody had tried using different impellers ie ally or plastic with more vanes on than the standered 4

Be intersted in any comments on this and any results that people might have found

    cheers Regbrg

  7. Tom

    I did it because I was told I could,nt ???

Red rag to a bull that is

I have not had it on a rolling road because I am doing another engine up at the moment

So it would be a waste of money to have this engine tested.

The only thing I can say is that it is an american spec engine and that when runing with a mate back from Malvern in october (in the speed limit of course officer) .

His 150bh didn,t  get away and nobody came by us.

  9. I have actualy tried the steering shaft down by my carbs and it just goes in

But it would not take much to give plenty of room.

If you go to the show at the NEC next month I will be there on the register stand on sunday

with my car and can talk to you about it
