[13 or 13.5 inch steering wheels that dont cost an arm and a leg]

Hi all.

 

An early moto-lita 14" thick leather rim,slight dish wheel is my choice!

I found it at the wet 07 Malvern for £10, it only needed a good clean,leather feed and polish,and I found a new boss for £15 as well.

Been told its an early one as moto-lita is inscribed on the lower middle spoke

It gives excellent feel,good grip,good dash view,has a nice bit of period patina to it as well!!

and doesnt look out of place like some of the new wooden wheels do!!

[TR5/250 MARQUE DAY]

Hello to all our TR5/250 0wners,

 

I and all the above owners should have received a letter from the TR Register to mark the 40+1 years birthday of our cars.

 

If you read the letter the Register has produced it says that it is not possible to recreate the programme planned for 2007 ( and I agree ) but are hoping to be able to mark the the event with a display of our cars in the Wye Hall on both Saturday and Sunday, and also having a cavalcade through the events ring.

Also my wife Barbara will be issuing voting slips to all owners and I would like them to vote for their favourite TR5/250 at this event. Roger Wyper of Yorkshire TR s has very kindly donated a cut glass decanter which of course will be awarded to the winner.

PLEASE NOTE!! Not for Concours entrants !!. Hopefully the votes will have been counted and the trophy will be presented on Sunday. If not the winner will be notified by post and the trophy posted off. !!PLEASE !! remember to enter your address details on the voting form.
