No problem beefing up the lever arm brackets on a post TS60000 sidescreen car.

Len,
Please pm me your phone number so I can call you about this part.

Mark,
No, but I have a number of frames that could be used to create a newly recovered set.
Possibly a better idea as you may find that any side screens you buy may not fit.
Generally, frames need ‘adjustment’ to fit a specific car.

Nope, no picture. I keep getting an error message.
Send me your email address and I’ll send the picture.

Rod,
Hopefully this will help. If there’s no picture, pm me your email and I’ll send the picture over.

Len,
I may have one but will need to check.

If the plate isn’t stuck to the flywheel, but is behaving as though it is, it seems that it must be remaining clamped by the cover/pressure plate.
This could be due to the pressure plate net being correct, the slave cylinder being incorrect, the release bearing being incorrect, the pushrod being too short etc.
You've already checked some of these items, but I’d be inclined to start again with the ‘external’ hydraulics, pushrods and levers now that you’ve got the gearbox back in.

Well, I’m back from Sweden and looking at the speedo. Sadly, I’m struggling to attach a photo.
Third time lucky!

Can it be withdrawn through the grille hole in the front apron?
If not, I suspect that you will have to remove the front apron.
I wonder if this is why later cars had a split column?

I have a KMH speedo but I’m not sure what the serial/model numbers are on it.
I'm currently away in Sweden so cannot go and have a look but when I’m back I will do so and add to this topic.

Camilo,
I’m out of the U.K. at the moment so cannot take any photos until later this week.
The original Stanpart bonnet is rust free and has no rust damage. It has been professionally glass bead blasted and etch primed.
From memory, I think I may have other Stanpart pre TS60000 bonnets that have not been glass bead blasted and etch primed.
i do not have a boot lid.

I can definitely help with a bonnet.
Shipping may not be terribly easy.

Ed & Roy,
I'm about to have a roll cage made for my TR3 and plan on using a Cobra Monaco seat.
I'll let you know what happens.

Richard,
If you're sure yours cannot be fettled prior to chroming, see here https://www.tr-register.co.uk/classified/2416/Overrider-F-Bumper-Spring-R-from-1957-3A-For-Sale
Obviously, nothing to do with me....

If it wasn’t for the ‘dent free’ part, I’m pretty sure I could help you with this.
I have a variety of bumpers for various different TR models, all need a small amount of straightening and rechroming.
Most rechromers will be able to sort out the required fettling prior to rechroming.
Are you really sure you need dent free?

I too have 195s on Minilights, and went with a space saver in the boot
a volvo space saver seems to work, correct pcd etc
steve
All okay apart from the fact that the space saver is not legal when in use on a TR, and also the problem that you will not be able to fit the wheel you’ve removed into the space in the boot.

I’m taking a couple of boxes to ICS steering in Birmingham. They have done other work for me. V happy with them.

John,
I’m sure it will be fine but, just in case, it is well worth making sure you can quickly disconnect the battery and have a fire extinguisher to hand.
