  1. I checked this morning and there is damage to the body below the boot lid inline with the overrider. I have moved the bumper backwards a bit and boot now opens. Thanks again all for your suggestions. Russ
  2. Thank you for your replies. The overrider isn't loose, I had to apply a lot of force to pull it away sufficient to open the boot then it sprung back. The car was unattended and out of view for 1 minute at a petrol station when I went in to pay. I'll have a close look tomorrow for signs of damage. Russ
  3. After a drive yesterday the boot on my TR4A won't open. It unlocks and opens about 5cm then hits the nearside overrider. I've checked all the bumper bracket and boot lid hinge bolts and none of them appear to have moved. I will be grateful if anyone has any suggestions on what has happened. Russ, Lancashire, 1965 TR4A,
