  1. Thanks. Does that TRGB stuff simply slot into the existing channels? That’s what I thought I was getting but no! This looks a much simpler idea. Have you or anyone got any experience of it please? I might send my new channels back if this stuff is any good. Thanks for sharing this.
  2. Thanks everyone. Some great advice from you all, which is appreciated. I think I’m sold on the scissor lift concept cast into the slab. I think this will be the best idea. All scissor lifts seem to support the car on the sills, so if I ever need to weld a sill up that isn’t ideal. Is there a scissor lift that gives the option to lift the car by its wheels? Maybe not. I guess I could lift the car and put 4 stands under the wheels then lower the ramp. Would that be possible? Thanks all.
  3. Thanks Mike. The search function on here is poor. But I’ll give it a go. Cheers.
  4. So I’m planning to extend my garage making another 12ft wide bay. I have the option of a pit or a scissor lift. What would you do? I would love a ramp but don’t have the headroom.
  5. When ordering some bits I asked about the window sliders and thought I’d try these lined channels. Has anyone got any advice fitting these? Might wish I’d lined the old ones! They seem a bit long too…
  6. Thanks. I've replaced everything so all new. I think I'll go for the silicone DOT 5 so I don't end up with any paint being stripped!
  7. Thanks for the advice. Very useful. Wish me luck!
  8. I'm about to do this soon, and for the clutch. All useful info. above. What fluid should I buy and what are the pros / cons of each type pse? Are the choices 4 or 5? Tnx.
  9. Hi All, After having the summer off, it's now time for me to return to my project and build up the doors. I need to source a few bits but what do I do to repair the felt inside the glass runners? I don't want to buy new metalwork. I didn't strip the doors so I'm curious as to the best order of rebuilding them. I had to get new glass as the originals were badly scratched. Any tips are much appreciated as its a bit of a jigsaw puzzle for me at present! Thanks, Steven
  10. Interesting. I still haven’t had time to sort mine yet…
  11. Hi Ian. Where did you purchase from and how did you get the discount? Thanks.
  12. Thanks Ian. I did try searching but that facility on this forum is pretty useless, or I’m doing something wrong!
  13. Thanks. I’ll take a look.
  14. I”m overcome with the choice online so looking for recommendations to cover and protect my 4a in the garage. Would like a cover with a soft internal surface including a bit of substance to it to protect against knocks etc. My garage is dry but unheated! TIA.
