E-Bay appear to be on the Ball, both Listing Ended and all the other cars too apart from an SL Merc and a load of other minor stuff.

Noticed the Full set of Badges are back on E-Bay too, at £1,200.00 Now!
A Query for you long time TR5 Owners, how can you tell an Original badge?
-
3/16''
+1
This size fitted on my 5 by the PO during its restoration, I have been told by a man in the know this is correct

Noticed this if anyone wants to do a Concours Restoration?
-
Only ‘a bit’..?
That's what I was thinking!!
But then again nothing surprises me with N.O.S. TR5 parts.
I remember the N.O.S. Rostyle Wheel trims on e-bay a few years ago, some of the Concours guys after perfection will pay these prices, hence the high reserve prices?

Could be early MGF?

Agreed Gary, we all have a soft spot for our TR's, and go through a long process, and great expense do get them back on the road, for our enjoyment.
I would have thought that's it's a private buyer, so will be doing a lot himself, or maybe someone with really deep pockets !!
These projects are still out there, keep looking.
Cheers,
Conrad,
Ps .. probably not doing Newark Autojumble tomorrow, forecast is ominous !!
Hi Conrad
You made the right decision about Newark Autojumble?
Only around a Dozen stalls outside and 20 or so inside so very disappointing, it was free to get in though!
Hi-light of the day though was calling in at Sherwood restorations and being shown by Charles the sales guy, two Sunbeam Tigers in the Workshop.
One was a low mileage (18,000 from new) one owner car.
Now there's a real wolf in sheep's clothing, the Sunbeam Tiger?
Very Tempted

I'm not at all surprised at the selling price?
Its another one saved and to be restored hopefully so it must be a good thing.

The seller reckons the Log books lost Neil?
Reg looks like NKL 111F to me.
-
Yes, the last couple for restoration have been around the £15-20K Mark.
It will probably get removed and some private deal done like the last one?
-
Yet another 5 For Restoration!
How many more are stashed away awaiting saving?

A wanted Advert on the TR-Register site and E-Mails to all the AO's may find you a car?
It worked for me
Nice to see another one appear Tim, when will we see that one on the road again?
-
Yet another probable Scam, seems far too cheap to me?
I've reported it.
