Thanks guys some useful information. Robin I take it from your comments the car started out in life with carbs. and not injection?

What attracted me to it was the 'grunt' of the body work and chassis appears to have been done so that would leave with basically getting it tidied/ resprayed and then a winter of rebuild.

Mechanical things I'm absolutely fine with hence the interest. Infact I'd already thought about tearing the engine down and tuning it.
