Pete, are you able to show me a pic of the mirror and where you placed it please? Some earlier comments said that they couldn't be adjusted very well and needed a plinth? Are yours springback? Thanks Charles

Hi Guys,
Just bought a TR4A that has happily this morning passed the MOT on the first try. Driving to the garage on its first proper run was a great experience but I noticed that each time I engaged the overdrive a buzzing sound came from the gear stick area, when disengaged the sound disappeared, other than that it worked fine. Is there someone outthere that can tell me in simple terms a) what you think it is and how can I fix it.
Thanks

Thanks guys, Yes Monty I will check them out they are much closer as well, a specialist body shop rather than a garage would be better.

Hi Guys,
The project car I am buying will need a complete re-spray during the Summer, does anyone know of a good bodyshop that can do a first class job in the Cotswold area?
Thanks

Thanks Guys, I get the cutting the studs and the Chrome over SS 72 spoke wires, but are we all agreed they will fit in the existing arches and look right as I dont want to mess about with the originality of the body shape. Is there a recommended tyre size then? Who would you recommend for the conversion package supply please?
Thanks again

Hello, I am in the process of buying a TR4A that has been laid up off road since 1998, fairly good condition, clutch stuck to flywheel I suspect. I see it has TR6 Wheels and would like to change these to 72 spoke chrome wires. In another comment someone says use spacers rather than cut down studs but doesn't the use of spacers make the tyres protrud from wings? Maybe a silly question but just asking?
Thanks

Wing Mirrors - which ones?

Consider selling the rear bumper? I could get mine re-chromed for £210 (silly money for new) but have to wait two months, if its in good condition we could trade bumpers with cash on the side so you would still have a set.
