I had this stuff in my 6 from when i got the car. Caused no end of problems. **** stuff
Stick with Bluecol and water.

After replacing a few sets of copper HT leads , which basically fell to bits, i bought a set of Magnecor leads . Never looked back.

I have access to large cable ties.....
Used to great effect when tying 2 shopping trollies together in the big Tesco !!

Concept cars are just that …a designers free for all .
Just look at it as a positive in that BMW still have the triumph name in their thoughts ….one day a TR9 may appear . Trouble is it will be electric .

Went to see a band in the middle of winter with e tickets on my phone .
Problem ….real hassle trying to get face recognition on my phone to work to open my phone up to show the bouncer my tickets . Oh the days of paper tickets and queuing up at the box office to buy !!! -
When I got my 6 , I noticed that the windows were coming away at the seams. The advice from the forum was to contact my local sail maker . This I did . I took the whole unit down and all the pvc windows were replaced for £50 .
only useful if you have a sail maker nearby !!! -
My 6 has:
DD points, condenser, dizzy cap and rotor
NGK plugs
NGK coil
Magnecor HT leads.
I had no end of problems with my car when i got her @ 10years ago. A trip to Stuart sorted the car out and i had a lesson from the "headmaster" about where to get decent quality parts.
Any new LUCAS stuff....put it straight in the bin. I would imagine Intermotor stuff is the same quality.

I took mine to a sail maker . Did a great job . Not sure if you have many sail makers where you are !!

We all know about the scams insurance companies have about grabbing your business and then try and rip you off when renewal time comes ….
I do get p!ssed off with the way they treat people …Direct Line has taken it to a new level .
My missus had a row with a bus last year …knock for knock . Premium rose by £350 to £721 . I was expecting a rise but that’s taking the p…Contacted DL and got the usual waffle then I was quoted £568 just like that . Asked whether I would accept this I said no and then stated “I see DL is in the papers today for ripping customers off on renewals “ Chat terminated and automatic renewal stopped . Tetchy !!!
Now with another company £426 .
No doubt the same runaround next year !!

Old number one , the Bentley that was rebuilt from the ground up, sold for mega amounts . I remember the court case about its originality ….or lack of . The court ruled it was still old number one .
So a TR6 with new bits ….is still a TR6
New good quality bits fitted properly is a godsend .

If any of you are fans of the comedy series “Ghosts “ which was on BBC , be advised that series 2 of Ghosts US is on BBC 3 tonight . Not normally a fan of US copies , but I’ve watched series one and it is really good . BBC iPlayer has series one on .
Give it s go …you won’t be disappointed !!

No …not the company but the grass variety . Anyone else suffered with a major moss infestation on their lawn after the long wet winter ?
My electric lawn rake has just given me 4 garden waste bags full . Aldi rake …brilliant but of kit .
