Maybe it’s a worm axle that has fallen out of an adjustable spanner.

(Not that any self-respecting TR owner would admit to having an adjustable spanner.)

  2. Found this on garage floor when working on TR6 throttle bodies yesterday.

Extended grub screw about 22mm long.

Looks familiar but I can’t think where from.
Not sure whether it’s from TR6?

  3. 5 x wire wheels and mounting hubs removed from my TR6.

All in good useable condition but could do with a repaint if you want perfection.

Tyres are in excellent condition having covered less than 5000 miles, but are 10 years old.

Studs and nuts included but a few nuts were damaged when I removed them.

Collection only, due to size and weight, from Colchester area.

    £250

After 10 years, it's definitely time for new tyres. I ran Pirellis on my GT6 and after 5-6 years they were awful in the wet, still plenty of tread depth but the rubber had hardened and wet grip was poor.

Yes, deep down I know there’s no choice really

I have 15x6 Revolutions on my TR6, with 195/65-15 tyres. I'm happy with this set up, though these wheels were on the car when I bought it years ago, and have to admit I've never driven a '6 on standard wheels and tyres. The front wheels needed 1/4" spacers and longer studs from Moss to clear the suspension on full lock.

Whatever wheel you opt for, choose your tyres carefully. Go for a quality tyre brand and look at the rolling radius compared to standard, as this will have an effect on overall gearing and speedo accuracy. The 195/65-15 Bridgestones on my car are close to the original rolling radius and offer excellent grip dry or wet, with decent ride.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks Nigel

Revolutions are one of the options that I’m considering.

Currently running Pirelli’s. I’ve had them on there for 10 years but only done around 5000 miles.

Next dilemma is whether to throw them away or reuse them... Whole new can of worms...

I've got JBW ones that are 6j, but I have 185 tyres. These fit fine. I guess if you're running 165 tyres then 5.5j would be better.

Thank you. Currently running 195 65 R15’s which I’m quite happy with so thinking of opting for 6J

  7. Size 44 Niche Sheepsin Flying Jacket

Excellect condition, only ever been used when driving my TR6.

I purchased this at the Revival a few years back. Wasn’t cheap and looking online shows them £325 new today.

Website shows sizes: Armpit to armpit 66.5cm and back length (base collar to hem) 72cm. coolsheepskin.co.uk

    Good quality heavy weight jacket.

I’ve been on a bit of a keep fit craze and lost over 3 stone, so I’m selling as it doesn’t really fit me anymore.

£99 to a Tr Register member.  Plus postage if you are not able to collect from Colchester area.

I can only post one picture on here but can message more to anybody who is interested.
