  3. not much of a preponse so far, does anyone know for sure this is happening and how to apply
  4. Hi all,I understand that my 73 TR6 becomes road tax exempt from April, does this happen automatically or do I need to apply somehow ?. Any help would be much appreciated.
  5. It should be a policy to ask people to leave the TR register if they talk down the value of our cars. Nick

It turned out to be technique. I have found that letting the pump spin for about 20 secs before trying to start helps a lot. Nick
  7. Hi Tony, that's a very impressive rear end set-up !. I'm not brave enough to attack the trailing arm with a drill, particulalry with it attached to the car. Nick
  8. Hi Roger, I had more or less drawn to the conclusion that the drive shafts would need removing, but this will have to wait until the winter. Nick
  9. Sorry, I meant outer UJ's Nick
  10. OK Rien, many thanks for the help. I wonder if anyone knows a means of greasing the inner UJ's without drilling access holes or removing the drive shafts ? Nick
  11. Hi Rien, OK I will take care not to over grease the two nipples and limit this to two strokes of the grease gun. Do all TR6's have the small hole, or did you drill it yourself and what is a long needle tool ? Nick
  12. Hello all, because of the rubbish weather I decided to service the TR and have been going around the various grease nipples. I have spotted two which are not shown in the brown book, these are located on the drive shafts next to the inboard UJ's, I'm guessing these are for lubricating the drive shaft splines, but I'm reluctant to grease these until I know for sure. Any indication would be appreciated?. Also is it possilbe/practical to grease the ouboard UJ's , or do I need to remove the drive shafts to do this ?. Nick

Hi Roger, the change over was done by TRGB and they are a long way from me, but, perhaps I should see what they suggest. Nick
