Kennet Valley TR Group - Eat & Drive November is a visit to Lacock Village

Novembers mid-monthly is an Eat & Drive visit to Lacock near Chippenham Wilts, a very pretty National Trust village with an abbey and the Fox Talbot museum on Sun. 24^th November 2019.

Den Carter has been in touch with the George Inn and they can cope with groups on Sunday lunch times. John Edmonds is prepared to do a tulip route starting at Tothill Services meeting at 10:00 for depart at 10:30 and ending at the National Trust car park Laycock as there is very little parking in the village. As the weather can be inclement in November, there is indoor and outdoor things to do and of course feel free to bring your everyday car if its bad.

• The Great Hall in Lacock Abbey is open 11.30 - 15.30
• Fox Talbot Museum 11.00 - 16.00
• Stable Caffe 10.30 - 16.00
• Shop 11.00 - 16.00

The George is at the moment changing the lunch time menu but will email Den the new menu when ready usual Sunday roasts. Denis as the coordinator will work out meeting times when he receive the Tulip route from John, so watch this space for the run to be published.
