The excitement around the innovative Inter-club International Weekend event has continued to build amongst car clubs, with over thirty now pledging their support and attendance. Celebrities from the classic car world are also expressing their support, with the first confirmed appearance being announced for former Bangers and Cash TV personality Sarah Crabtree who will be at the show on Saturday meeting clubs and joining the line-up in the live arena.

The weekend event, based at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern over the weekend of 28-30 June promises to be an action-packed show with entertainment and attractions now being announced that will appeal to historic vehicle enthusiasts and their families alike.

For those seeking the full festival experience, camping is available on-site with a beer tent, entertainment marquee and live music keeping club revellers entertained late into the evening. Alternatively, the area around Worcester and the Malvern Hills has a large number of hotels and B&Bs to suit all budgets.

Tickets are being sold online now via www.interclubweekend.com with sales allocated to each participating club via a supplied discount code.

The event will be run on a not-for-profit basis. However, the organising clubs expect it to be possible to pay a commission to the participating clubs on each ticket sold, subject to the level of interest received.

Dave Burgess, Chairman of the TR Register Car Club said, “We often meet and talk with clubs who cannot afford to have a national weekend on this scale and so for them, this is a perfect opportunity to come and make the most of the facilities laid on by us, but without the risk of losing their own identity, activities or having to allocate club funds to the event. Furthermore, by 'clubbing together' and collaborating, the event is more likely to have the critical mass of attendance it needs to invest in more attractions and activities for visitors and clubs alike. Only by working together as a wider classic car community can we hope to navigate the financial pressures and other challenges that all clubs are now facing when it comes to running events. That aside, it’s also nice to have a varied selection of vehicles to look around, learn about in the arena and enjoy.”

How to buy tickets

• From the main event website at www.interclubweekend.com select ‘Buy Tickets’
• From the list that appears select which ticket you’d like to purchase and the quantity.
• At the foot of the page click next and it will open the cart.
• On the right-hand side of the cart is the window for your discount code.
• Input the TR Register club booking code and the prices will be discounted.
