Triumph Weekend dates announced at nostalgic venues for 2021/2

The two largest Triumph car clubs in the UK, the TR Register and Triumph Sports Six Club (TSSC) have confirmed that they will be continuing to combine resources to organise their joint Inter-club Triumph Weekend in both 2021 and 2022, at venues holding fond memories for members of both clubs.

The TR Register and TSSC will combine efforts to offer Triumph fans the ultimate weekend of celebration of the marque Triumph and the community of clubs that support it.

The organisers from TR Register and TSSC have confirmed that the 2021 Triumph Weekend will be held at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, Worcestershire over the weekend of 13-15 August 2021.

The following year, the Triumph Weekend will be held at the Staffordshire County Showground, Stafford during the weekend of 19-21st August 2022.

Both venues enjoy a rich history with each of the organising clubs and offer superb facilities within which, the organisers of the Inter-club Triumph Weekend promise to put on an extra-special, large scale event for fans of all Standard and Triumph motor vehicles.

The Inter-club Triumph Weekend will celebrate significant anniversaries, including 90 years since the launch of the Triumph Super 9, 60 years of the Triumph TR4 – the first of the Michelotti designed TRs and 40 years of the Triumph Acclaim – the last vehicle to wear the Triumph badge.

Allan Westbury, TR Register Chairman said,

“After the success of our first ever joint event in 2019, the members of both the TR Register & TSSC recognise that by working together, both clubs can put on a truly fantastic event for all things Triumph. We are really pleased to be visiting two great venues that resonate with both of our club’s histories and hold such great memories for our members.
After a forced break this year, we are all looking forward to putting on a truly spectacular event next year that will live on in the hearts & minds of members for years to come.”

Chris Gunby, Chairman of the TSSC explained,

Whilst the facilities at both Malvern and Stafford have been vastly modernised in recent years, the fond memories for both venues amongst members of our clubs remain. By combining our resources and throwing open the invitation to all clubs and enthusiasts of the Triumph marque – we hope to put on a truly memorable weekend that is so very much needed by our community, in light of recent events.”

The Inter-club Triumph Weekend at Malvern 2021 will feature a packed programme of events and attractions. These include an indoor trade show, outdoor Autojumble, indoor Concours D’Elegance and Show and Shine displays, an AutoSOLO, rolling road, live music, evening entertainment, camping, arena events and local driving routes. There will also be craft and fashion stalls, technical seminars, sightseeing buses to local destinations and other non - vehicle related attractions and activities. Further new features and activities will be added and announced in due course.

Entrance and Camping Tickets will go on sale later this year for the 2021 dates and can be purchased online at www.triumphweekend.com with significant discounts for pre-booking club members.
