Bristol Historic Docks

Just 2 of us from Wye Dean joined Glavon group on a bitterly cold day for a walking tour of Bristol Historic Docks on Sunday February 12th. All thanks to Andy West for a really interesting tour, packed with information about the history and development of the docks. Dick had worked for Charles Hill & sons many moons ago when he was but a wee lad, so it brought back many memories for him. The chance to warm up and fuel up at the Cottage pub was very welcome, before we made our separate ways back. Again, many thanks to Andy & Glavon group. See the Gallery for a couple of images.
