Kennet Valley TR Group attends Classic & Sportscar Show Thatcham

Kennet Valley TR Group members supported the Thatcham Classic as organised by Classic & Sportscars magazine. Despite occasional light showers, there was still an excellent turnout for the 11th Thatcham Classic today and they managed to raise a total of £1,120 for the Rosemary Appeal Cancer Support & Dialysis Unit thanks to match-funding.

This was a local TR4 that attended, we saw a TR Register sticker but from memory we haven't seen the car at a meeting, if you're the owner we'd love to see you, why not get in touch at Phil Horsley - GL

Car of the Show went to Terry Bridle and his superb 1966 Shelby 350H Rent-a-racer (H stands for Hertz rental racer), with the Spirit of Show trophy being awarded to a wonderfully-prepared VW Karmann Ghia. Thank you to everyone who turned up and supported the show!
