Kennet Valley TR Group show their strong support to Newbury Classic show in aid of Bloodwise

On a great August Sunday, 16 Kennet Valley TR Group cars attended the ever popular 24th West Berkshire Classic Vehicle club show at Newbury College grounds in aid of Bloodwise along with 700+ other fantastic classic cars. With a fine display of TR's alongside our friends from the local TSSC, the Triumph brand was well displayed and created great interest.

The club event tent and banner served well to shade from the afternoon sun and members enjoyed their picnics and drinks, Phil Horsley also brought along some Cleethorpes Rock he got whilst in Lincolnshire at the TR International.

Of course due to the hot weather the inevitable ice cream van strategically located close by was well used. Members also enjoy browsing a good selection of stalls and auto-jumblers.

With donations on booking and those taken on the day, over £100.00 was donated to this worthwhile cause Bloodwise for those who suffer with blood cancers incl leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma.
